Viddyoze 2.0 Review

Viddyoze 2.0 has come, and if you have been following along with all the buzz in the video marketing industry these days, chances are, you already watched their amazing video teasers. There's no question that those animations shown in those videos are really amazing. However, it's still important to show how this tool works, from the perspective of a real user.

As one of the early ones, who tried Viddyoze 2.0, I'm glad to share to you what I think about this product. Watch the following video...

What I Like

1. Professional grade logo and motion graphic animations, with lots of templates to choose from.

2. Very easy and fast to use.

3. Cloud-based (no need to download and install anything).

4. Can be used in mobile devices

5. The alpha animations are great, in creating motion graphics for live action videos, which is needed in many kinds of businesses and projects where cartoon animation don't work.

What's Missing

For the very first time, this is a product where I almost can't think of anything bad about it (I'm usually a critic to video creation tools).

If any, it might be just a few bugs when rendering at some point, probably because of the updates and development.

I don't usually give crazy praises to a software just to get affiliate sales. But this is a tool that really made me excited and I'm very proud to promote it. I just used it to create my official animated logo for this site because I really love the quality of the output. I will surely use this a lot in my live action video projects.

Thank you Cham for an in depth honest review, very helpful, especially from an video editor viewpoint not marketeer…. looking forward to your included video bonuses.

One thing, I would like to know about their OTO’s so I can determine if they are worthwhile.

Hi John, thanks! OTO1 is Viddyoze Template Club, which is great if you are serious in providing motion graphics as a service to clients, because you can have new templates each month. OTO2 is Viddyoze Plus, which is something I still have to ask the developers 🙂

Hi Cham, now I have just seen Vinci 3D – it gives me control of templates which means I can adjust colours and speed etc. (?) allowing me ability to customise any template so my video will not have exactly the same output as standard stock. I presume Viddyoze (basic) will have similar capability allowing customisation of templates… yes/no?

I don’t need to service clients, so OTO isn’t necessary (don’t want to lock myself into a monthly fee) as long as I can customise templates so they become somewhat unique. Hope I am not expecting too much. By the way I bought your video lessons. Excellent! Thanks.

Yes you can adjust the colors inside Viddyoze (even in the basic level). As for the speed, there’s no option for that inside Viddyoze but that’s something you can easily adjust inside your video editing software like Camtasia. You can always make your logo reveals and other motion graphics look like they are not made from a template (which I will talk more about in my bonus). Vinci3D? I’m not really a big fan of it, to be honest.

Just watched your video again, yes you already talked about Vinci3D (funny your text is not clear?)…

Are there many different lower 3rds available in Viddyoze?

Thanks so much.

Yup, for some reason, the logo image quality is not so good when done in Vinci3D. I thought maybe it’s just in the software while editing, but even the one I rendered has the same low quality, which is the main reason why I don’t really recommend Vinci3D. See how my logo looks like in this rendered Vinci3D template https://youtu.be/Opqi25yAn_8

Hi, 3rd time lucky. yes there are many lower thirds 🙂

If Viddyoze is cloud based and Vinci3D is local on your computer, then why is Vinci3D slow to preview/render?

Thanks so much for comparing Viddyoze 2 with Vinci3D and telling us all your true opinion of how bad Vinci3D is!!

I am going to refund Vinci3D right away. Goodbye Andrew Darius and your poor software!!!

i Cham, just watched a video showing how it works… select a theme, upload your logo, change the colour etc. then render, then download… and only then you see your finished product.

You mentioned they might like to look at displaying your logo immediately, instead of waiting to see it later, well that seems to apply to everything.

So when creating your video you don’t actually get to see any changes until after you render and then download… to me that would be frustrating because the colours you choose (and/or any other effect available) cannot be “seen” until after a download, so it takes 4-5 minutes to render, then a few minutes to download, only to see the colours don’t match… so you have to repeat over and over until you get the right effect.

I guess it’s a cheap solution and it is faster and easier than adobe aftereffects.. and I guess there are not many other solutions around which makes it interesting… until the next program… or they will fix it like you suggested so you can see your logo in situ so you can make a judgement if you like it prior to rendering and downloading.

Hope you don’t mind my long rave, just very weary of buying yet another product that ends up on the rubbish pile… having said all that, it will do the job it’s just we are flying blind. 🙂

Yeah, this is something I hope they will fix soon and I’ll tell the developers about that. But actually, this is not really a big deal for me. In fact, 5 minutes is somewhat an exaggeration because for the most templates I rendered, it only took me seconds :). In fact, there were cases in After Effects when I rendered a motion graphics in almost an hour, only to find out I have to fix something. So for me, I don’t really mind rendering a few minutes (or second in some cases) then do it again if in case I chose the wrong colors. Anyway, doing this right (choosing the right template and colors) is actually my bonus to those who’ll buy this through me so you’ll be guided about it soon 🙂

I can see why a few minutes rendering compared to After Effects is a joy, but obviously I would like to see my logo and adjust things in real time. Having said that, I think they would have done that already if it were possible. Thanks Cham.
